What's been happening at Cash Plus...

CASHAWAY SWEEPSTAKES 12 IS BEST EVER: MEET THE TOP THREE WINNERS AND THEIR CHARITIES

Grand Prize winner Sandra Griffith of Jacksonville, FL, took home $5,000. She selected the American Breast Cancer Association as her charity of choice, which received a $1,500 donation in her name. Said Sandra: "They have helped my sister through some very trying times, and I'm very happy to be able to give them something back to help them with their work."
    The $2,500 second place winner, Sara Baca of Victorville, CA, selected Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times, which received a check for $1,000 in Sara's name to help support their work of providing families with places to stay (more than 300 locations around the country now) when a family member is confined to a hospital room. 
    Nate Norman of Mishiwaka, IN, received $1,500 as the third place winner. Nate picked Betty's Bread Basket to receive a $500 donation in his name. A food bank program sponsored by the River of Life Family Church, Betty's Bread Basket feeds families in need around the South Bend, IN area.
    The twelfth edition of our annual cash giveaway ran between June 22nd and September 16th and winners were selected in mid-October. A total of $25,000 was split among 329 individual winners and charities. SEE THE NEWS RELEASE FOR MORE

CASH PLUS TV "SMILE-MAKER" TECHNOLOGY STARTING TO APPEAR IN CASH PLUS STORES. CUSTOMERS LOVE IT.

An exciting new "smile-maker" technology we call Cash Plus TV was officially launched in two Anaheim, California Cash Plus stores during February 2011. The wall-mounted big screen TVs display specially-developed programming featuring short, entertaining and informative video clips that help make a visit to Cash Plus even more pleasant. What was the customer reaction to this latest Cash Plus innovation? Here are a few of their actual comments:

• "Now that's entertainment!"

• "You need to put more chairs out, since no one will want to leave the lobby now!"

• "Too bad you didn't have a longer line today; I would have liked to see more of it!"

• "Nice touch!"

• "You gave me another reason to come here; the videos kept the kids busy so I could fill out my paperwork!"
