OUR GO-FOR-THE-GOLD CASHAWAY SWEEPSTAKES 11 IS UNDERWAY!
It turns out that the historic California gold rush happened right in front of Jedadiah Guy's estimable nose. The sluice manager of the sawmill where James Marshall discovered gold on January 24, 1848, Jedadiah was the great-great-great grandfather of our own CP Guy, of course. When we learned these remarkable facts, it became clear that the theme for our eleventh Cashaway™ Sweepstakes had to be "go for the gold!" "Sweepstakes Summer" is the time we say "thank you" to customers by giving away hundreds of cash prizes and charitable donations adding up to $25,000! With this summer's event we'll pass the $225,000 mark in total cash given out to winners and charities since the program began in 2001. Our latest Sweepstakes launched on June 23rd and will run through September 17th. In mid-October, the 329 cash winners will be announced. SEE THE NEWS RELEASE FOR MORE

COALITION FOR FINANCIAL CHOICE LAUNCHES GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN TO PRESERVE SMALL SHORT-TERM LOANS

In their haste to "do something" about America's recent financial "challenges," federal lawmakers are currently considering a number of far-reaching bills. Unfortunately, some of these bills -- if passed -- could transform the "credit crunch" into a "credit hammer." What that hammer would mean for millions of working Americans is that low-cost short-term credit options like the immensely popular payday advance loan would disappear. Our You've Got Choices booklet explains in simple language about the hidden financial hazards we all face and how payday advances are often the lowest cost option. As numerous recent studies have shown (including a groundbreaking 2008 study by the FDIC) it's a financial option worth preserving. Click to DOWNLOAD THE YOU'VE GOT CHOICES PDF FILE HERE. For more information on the status of legislation with impact on your personal financial choices, visit the Coalition for Financial Choice website (www.coalitionforfinancialchoice.org) and fill out their online info form.
